Indigenous Day Live - Whitehorse
Saturday, June 22nd
On Saturday June 22, APTN will host Indigenous Day Live from Shipyards Park (100 Ogilvie Street) in Whitehorse.
Indigenous Day Live is the largest national celebration in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day and the summer solstice in Canada. There are free daytime celebrations and activities followed by an evening concert (pre-show: 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. / IDL concert: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.).
Hosted by Chantal Rondeau and Dave Jenniss, concert performers include Terri Clark, The Julian Taylor Band, Leela Gilday, Shauit and more.
The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre will also host festivities for National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21.
