“Salty Birds” A Yukon Wildlife Viewing Event

The Takhini Salt Flats is habitat for many bird species including Mountain Bluebird, American Kestrel and Common Nighthawk. Rubber boots are suggested due to the harsh salt and soggy terrain. Carpooling is encouraged for the 90-km drive. Involves a 3-km, off-trail hike
