The annual Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf Tournament was set for Saturday in Whitehorse but has been cancelled for 2018.
The Yukon Learn Society says it hopes the Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf Tournament in Whitehorse will return next year.
This year's fundraiser was set for Saturday, however, has been cancelled due to a lack of golfers, which organizers attribute to poor spring weather.
Society President Mark Davey says the tournament usually brings in $20,000, and this year, proceeds were earmarked for new computers.
"We hope that we will able to substitute it from others sources." Davey said.
"It's money that's raised for programs outside of our core programs, so it's very discretionary."
Davey says the silent auction items will still be auctioned off in the fall.
Yukon Learn has been running the PGI in the territory for 25 years.
