Bob Park Golf Raises $$

The sixth annual Bob Park Memorial Golf Tournament took place over the weekend.

The tournament has been held every summer since Park passed away due to cancer.

Suzanne Higley-Alford is the event coordinator.

She says given how many people knew Park, the tournament always conjures up mixed emotions.

Attendance at the tournament was down slightly this year due to inclimate weather.

However just over ten thousand dollars was still raised.

Park's family says they want the money to go directly to Yukoners battling cancer or other cancer related issues.
