I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Ontario. I was very active in the local music community and after doing an internship at the local radio station I knew I had to be on the radio. I moved to Toronto to go to Humber College where I graduated from the Radio Broadcasting program and was given the Chum Limited Award for announcing. After graduation, I spent some time working in Toronto, before being offered the opportunity to work for CKRW. So I packed up my boyfriend and my kitty (Mr. Ziggy V) said so long to the big city and moved to Whitehorse. That was back in ’07. The spell of The Yukon has kept us here, and we have added to our family with two rescued dogs Z’ev and Charlie Charmander. Our friends and family still think we are nuts, but you know Sourdoughs always are - at least a little bit.
