Jenna paton
I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Ontario. I was very active in the local music community and after doing an internship at the local radio station I knew I had to be on the radio. I moved to Toronto to go to Humber College where I graduated from the Radio Broadcasting program and was given the Chum Limited Award for announcing. After graduation I spent some time as a traffic announcer in Toronto, before being offered the opportunity to work for CKRW. So I packed up my boyfriend (Patrick) and my kitty (Mr. Ziggy V) said so long to the big city and moved to Whitehorse. Although our friends and family thought we were crazy to move up to a place where we would "be eaten by polar bears" and "have our lungs freeze just from breathing" we love it here!
When I'm not working I spend way too much time watching TV, I never miss America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, and my guilty pleasure The Hills. I love music especially Prince, Duran Duran, Mika, The Liars and Q AND NOT U. I'm looking forward to being able to say I survived winter in the Yukon and being called a sourdough!
