Hello!

I have lived in the Vancouver, British Columbia area my whole life...until now! I have just moved to the beautiful city of Whitehorse to work here at CKRW. It’s been a blast so far- I’m loving the station, the city and all the awesome people I’m meeting along the way!

I completed the Broadcasting program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology this year, and I also have a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University. My love affair with radio began at the campus station at SFU, and I’ve been hooked ever since!

When I’m not floating through the airwaves, I love to run! I’ve taken up trail running since I’ve moved here, quite a difference from running on the flat seawalls back home! On top of being great exercise, it’s an excellent way to take in all the spectacular Yukon scenery! I’m also looking forward to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing when the winter weather blows in!

I’m vegan so I’m very picky about what I eat...I do love dark chocolate and coffee (lots and lots of coffee). I bake and cook quite a bit and I like to take pictures of my food (I never once claimed to be normal!).

More loves: music - all kinds of genres; art; books; tattoos (see: my arms); food (see: above), dogs and cats, documentaries (making and watching/listening!); laughter and all my wonderful friends and family.
