Whitehorse RCMP are pushing on with their investigation into allegations related to the use of holds and isolation spaces at Jack Hulland Elementary School in Whitehorse
WHITEHORSE – RCMP is continuing to investigate allegations related to the use of holds and isolation spaces at Jack Hulland Elementary School in Whitehorse.
Allegations and concerns initially were brought to Whitehorse RCMP on November 19, 2021, of the use of holds and isolation spaces being used at Jack Hulland Elementary School. The General Investigation Section is leading the investigation with the goal to ensure student safety is maintained.
GIS is urging new witnesses who have yet to talk to the police to come forward. This includes teachers, parents, and staff who may have further details on these allegations.
Whitehorse RCMP says this continues to be an active police investigation, police are limited on the information that can be released to the public. Further details may be made available when appropriate.
