Whitehorse, YT – Elections Yukon has launched a voter registration campaign to ensure all eligible Yukoners are prepared for upcoming elections.
The next territorial election is set to happen on November 3rd, 2025 but could be called sooner.
The campaign encourages all eligible voters in the territory to confirm, update or add their information to the list of electors through their secure online registration portal on the website. Elections Yukon says updating information now will facilitate smoother elections in the future as voting materials with important information will be distributed once an election is called.
Currently, there are 32,500 voters registered leaving an estimated 3,000 additional eligible voters yet to register. Citizens aged 16 and 17 can also pre-register as future electors.
You can access the voter registration portal at ElectionsYukon.ca/registration to update or add your information. Electors can also register by mail using paper applications available on the website or by phone request.
