Whitehorse, YT – Whitehorse RCMP say one man is unaccounted for and another received medical attention following a single-vehicle collision where a truck and trailer plunged into the Yukon River near the Lewes River Bridge on Monday morning.
The police say their thoughts are with the family of the missing individual.
Two men from Phoenix, Arizona, were in the pickup truck that was hauling a trailer loaded with other vehicles.
Police say all vehicles are currently submerged in the river.
On Monday, at 6:47 a.m. Whitehorse RCMP and other emergency responders received reports of the collision.
