Whitehorse, YT – Two people are dead and another was treated for minor injuries after a head-on crash on the Alaska Highway early Tuesday morning.
The collision between a sedan and a commercial tractor-trailer happened around 4 a.m. near kilometre 1267, just north of Teslin.
Yukon RCMP, the Yukon Coroner’s Service and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement attended the scene, with support from the Teslin Fire Department.
The Yukon Coroner’s Service says the investigation is ongoing but there’s no evidence of criminality at this time.
