Whitehorse, YT – A house fire on Hanna Crescent caused significant damage yesterday but no injuries were reported.
The Whitehorse Fire Department says crews arrived to find the home fully engulfed. The heat from the blaze also damaged the siding of a neighbouring house.
Several pets were involved. One was taken to a veterinarian while others were lost in the fire.
The cause has not been determined but is not considered suspicious.
