Whitehorse, YT – A man is dead and another seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash on the Alaska Highway late Sunday night.
RCMP say two passenger vans collided between Azure Road and Kathleen Road around 10:30 p.m., with one catching fire.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic was detoured through Crestview for about four hours while police investigated.
RCMP are asking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area between 10 and 11 p.m. Sunday to contact Whitehorse RCMP.
