Whitehorse, YT – Last week, Yukon RCMP arrested a British Columbia man for drug trafficking.
Officers from Yukon Crime Reduction Unit arrested 22-year-old Sahibjit Singh Toor, of Surrey, B.C., on Oct. 31. Police seized drugs believed to be crack cocaine, money and a canister of bear spray in a vehicle.
Toor was charged with trafficking charges and having property obtained by crime. He appeared in court on Nov. 1 and is set to reappear on Nov. 19.
Sergeant Ian Fraser, a Supervisor in the Yukon Crime Reduction Unit, says in a statement that the public should report any details of drug trafficking or suspicious activity to the police or Crime Stoppers.
