Whitehorse, YT – Whitehorse RCMP say they’ve concluded their on-scene investigation at Shipyards Park following the discovery of a “sudden death” Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to the area around 3 p.m., with support from other RCMP units and the Yukon Coroner’s Service. The section of the park near the river and walking trail was closed to the public during the investigation.
Mounties say the probe is still in its early stages and no further information is being released at this time.
