Whitehorse, YT – The Yukon RCMP and the Yukon Coroner’s Service say the death of a Whitehorse man found near Shipyards Park last week has been ruled accidental.
Police say Floyd Charlie was discovered near the riverbank on Nov. 6, prompting parallel investigations by RCMP and the coroner. Officers say they found no evidence of criminal involvement, and the coroner has now taken over the file and confirmed the death was accidental.
The RCMP thanked members of the public who came forward with information and extended condolences to Charlie’s family and friends.
