Update 10:16 am: RCMP say the requirement for a police presence has ended. Two people have been arrested and will face charges.
Whitehorse, YT – Yukon RCMP say they are at the scene of an ongoing investigation just north of Teslin on the Alaska Highway.
Officers say there is no danger to the public at this time, and there will be an increased police presence in the area until further notice.
Police are urging the public to stay away from police activity and to avoid sharing incident details and locations on social media.
RCMP say they will provide more details when available.
