Whitehorse, YT – RCMP in Mayo continue to search for Nasha Wong, who has been missing since Thursday.
Police say Wong was last seen around 9 p.m. on May 14, about two to three kilometres south of Elsa along the Silver Trail Highway.
Search crews have been working through the weekend and into this week, using police dogs, helicopters and ground teams.
Yukon Search and Rescue volunteers from Whitehorse and Dawson City have joined the effort, along with workers from Hecla Mining, who have helped search company properties, buildings and vehicles.
Wong is described as 51 years old, five-foot-three and about 139 pounds, with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. Police say she was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black vest, a black jacket with an orange zipper and Blundstone boots.
RCMP are asking anyone with dashcam footage from the Silver Trail, Mayo or nearby areas between 5 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. on May 14 to contact investigators.
