Whitehorse RCMP arrested two Yukoners this past weekend.
WHITEHORSE – Two Yukoners were placed under arrest for not attending court amongst other charges.
On April 2nd, while responding to an unrelated request for assistance in downtown Whitehorse, officers saw the 2 suspects in the area.
Osheana Kuster, 24, of Whitehorse, and Bobby Ward, 39, of Whitehorse, both had warrants issued for failing to appear in court. Both attempted to elude police officers by breaking into a neighbouring house. Officers were granted a warrant to enter the house and arrested both people on outstanding warrants.
Both Osheana Kuster and Bobby Ward failed to appear in court on Monday, April 3 and were remanded into custody until future court appearances due to outstanding criminal allegations.
Osheana Kuster is awaiting the following Criminal Code offences being resolved in court:
– Theft / Misuse / Fraud of Credit Card (two counts)
– Fail to attend court.
Bobby Ward is awaiting the following Criminal Code offences being resolved in court:
– Theft Under $5000 – shoplifting (two counts)
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Resist / Obstruct Peace Officer (two counts)
– Theft Under $5000 from a Motor Vehicle (thirty-five counts)
– Fail to attend court
– Fail to comply with release order conditions
