WHITEHORSE, YT – The Whitehorse RCMP have confirmed they’ve arrested an individual in downtown Whitehorse following a brief incident near Second and Fourth Avenues around 1pm on Friday, February 16th. RCMP have said the situation ended peacefully, and one person was apprehended.
Specific details remain scarce at this time, but there was a heighted police presence near the area as the situation unfolded, with the RCMP saying they worked to ensure the safety of their officers and the public during the arrest.
