WHITEHORSE, YT – The Whitehorse RCMP have confirmed an armed robbery had taken place at the Petro Canada Gas Station on 4th Avenue early yesterday morning. The RCMP are now seeking public assistance in identifying and locating the suspect.
Police have confirmed a lone suspect, possibly female, entered the store brandishing a weapon in the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 20th. The suspect then proceeded to steal cash from the till, and assaulted a gas station employee in the process.
RCMP have described the suspect as Caucasian, and possibly female. They were wearing a tied up grey hoodie that covered most of their face, along with a black jacket, pants and footwear.
