Whitehorse, YT – Northwestel will be doing network maintenance this Wednesday which will cause service disruptions for up to four hours and could affect the ability to call 911.
The planned maintenance work will take place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25th.
Cell and data services as well as landline calling will be impacted.
Residents in need of emergency services can go to Whitehorse General Hospital, local fire halls, health centres or RCMP detachments.
You can also report emergencies to emergency vehicles which will be stationed around Whitehorse.

- North 60 Petrol on Wann Road and the Alaska Highway
- Entrance to Whistle Bend
- Corner of Robert Service Way and Alaska Highway
- Carcross Cut Off
