Whitehorse, YT – The old Dairy Queen building in downtown Whitehorse is gone and demolition work remains ongoing at the Municipal Services Building.
Crews demolished the old Dairy Queen building on 2nd Avenue on October 13th.
Demolition work continues at the City of Whitehorse’s Municipal Services Building at 4210 4th Avenue. The City stated that the building is at the end of its useful life.
The demolition work is expected to last throughout the month and the site will be prepared for future development in 2025.
