Whitehorse, YT – A 25-year-old man is facing multiple firearms charges following a reported shooting in downtown Dawson City on April 7th.
RCMP responded just after midnight to reports of gunfire near Princess Street and Second Avenue. Witnesses helped police identify a suspect, who was arrested around 12:30 a.m.
A subsequent search of a local residence led to the seizure of a 3D-printed handgun, a loaded 9mm magazine, and an unsecured rifle.
Silver-Lee Vijay Tucker has been charged with five firearms-related offences including careless use of a prohibited firearm and unsafe storage.
He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on June 17th.
