Whitehorse, YT – A man is facing charges after police responded to a report of a firearm at a restaurant on Main Street in Whitehorse last month.
RCMP say Gage Harvey allegedly showed a gun to a staff member on April 29 before entering the restaurant’s bathroom. The building was evacuated and Harvey was arrested without incident.
Police say the weapon was later identified as a replica Glock BB gun.
Harvey is charged with mischief under $5,000, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
