Whitehorse, YT – RCMP are asking for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision involving a cyclist on the Alaska Highway over the weekend.
Police responded to the incident at 9:58 p.m. on June 7 near 91280 Alaska Highway, close to Philmar RV Centre. The cyclist was injured and taken to hospital.
The highway was briefly closed, then reopened to single-lane traffic for about 20 minutes before fully reopening.
