Whitehorse, YT – Air North has signed an interline agreement with Taiwan’s China Airlines, which means improved travel opportunities from Asia to the Yukon.
Passengers can now book single-ticket itineraries combining China Airlines flights with Air North service through major Canadian hubs, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Ottawa.
“By opening up new, seamless travel connections, this partnership will make it easier than ever for visitors to experience all that the Yukon has to offer,” said Tourism Minister John Streicker in a statement.
According to the Yukon Bureau of Statistics, visitors to the territory reported spending $284.6 million in Yukon in 2022-23.
Last July, Air North signed an interline agreement with WestJet, with travellers able to book single ticket travel across the two airlines’ networks.
