Whitehorse, YT – Yukon RCMP are asking for the public’s help following the sudden death of a Whitehorse man near Shipyards Park.
Shortly after 1 p.m. on Nov. 6, police received a report of a man lying on the riverbank. Emergency responders confirmed he was deceased. The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Floyd Charlie of Whitehorse.
The RCMP, assisted by other units and the Yukon Coroner’s Service, are investigating the circumstances of his death. Police are asking anyone who saw or had contact with Charlie on Nov. 5, or 6 to contact the RCMP.
