Whitehorse, YT – Elections Yukon has confirmed the official results of the school board elections which saw six incumbents and four new trustees elected on Monday.
For the Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon, elected trustees are Jessica Masson Guerette, Jean-Sébastien Blais, Amélie Morin, Véronique Maggiore and Myriam Bougie.
For the First Nation School Board, the winners are Mats’äsä̀na Mą Primozic, Dana Tizya-Tramm, Melanie Bennett, Josie O’Brien, and Dustin McKenzie Hubbard.
Voting took place on Nov. 17, across 11 polling stations with 366 voters participating.
Trustees serve three-year terms and must take an oath of office before assuming their duties.
