The Rush Valentine Love Line Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by CKRW-FM 96.1 The Rush, Whitehorse, Yukon, in partnership with Cail’s Candy Corner (the “Sponsor”).

Contest Period

The Contest runs from Friday, January 30, 2026 at 8:00 AM Yukon Time to Thursday, February 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM Yukon Time (the “Contest Period”).

Eligibility:

The Contest is open to legal residents of the Yukon who:

Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
Have access to Instagram and/or Facebook

Employees of CKRW-FM 96.1 The Rush, Cail’s Candy Corner, participating prize partners, their advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter:

Participants may enter the Contest in the following ways during the Contest Period:Social Media Entry
1. Like the official Rush Valentine Love Line contest post on Facebook and/or Instagram
2. Follow 96.1 The Rush, Cail’s Candy Corner, and all participating sponsors on the platform used
3. Tag someone you love or admire in the comments
  - Each tag counts as one (1) entry
  - Unlimited tags permitted

Bonus Entry – Voice Note Submission

Submit a short Valentine’s Day poem, written and read by you, dedicated to a significant other, a crush, or someone deserving of a Valentine’s shoutout
Each eligible voice note submission earns one (1) additional entry

Voice notes must be submitted as instructed on the official contest post or contest page at ckrw.com.

Voice Note Use & Content

By submitting a voice note, entrants:

Confirm the poem is their original work
Grant CKRW-FM 96.1 The Rush permission to edit, broadcast, and share the audio on-air and/or on social media without compensation
Acknowledge that selected voice notes may be featured at the discretion of the station

Submissions must be suitable for broadcast. CKRW-FM reserves the right to remove or disqualify entries containing offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted material.

Prize

One (1) winner will receive the Rush Valentine Love Line Prize Package, which includes:

One (1) night stay at the Raven Inn, Downtown Whitehorse
One (1) $100 gift card to the Railwork Lounge, located at the Raven Inn
Two (2) passes to Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $500 CAD

The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded. Travel to and from prize locations is the responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection

One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

The draw will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2026, and the winner will be announced on The Midday Grind at approximately 11:00 AM Yukon Time.

Winner Notification & Claiming

The selected entrant must:

Be reachable via direct message or contact information provided
Claim the prize within the timeframe specified by CKRW-FM

Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
