Whitehorse, YT – The Canada Border Services Agency says the Little Gold Creek border crossing is reopening today for the summer season.
It is the northernmost land border crossing between Yukon and Alaska, located on the Top of the World Highway about 105 kilometres west of Dawson City.
The port will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Sept. 15. CBSA says the opening was delayed last week due to environmental conditions, and that weather can still affect operations.
More than 10,000 travellers used the crossing last summer.
