We’re giving recognition to those father figures in our lives and their legendary sense of humour (or lack thereof). The “Dad Joke of the Day” contest is your chance to win a Father’s Day prize package, courtesy of Whitehorse Home Hardware!

1. Listen to Win! Keep your radio tuned to CKRW. Whenever you hear our Dad Joke of the Day on air, text the word DAD to 867-667-7891. We will be playing different jokes throughout the day, so you can text in to qualify once every hour!

Official Rules & Regulations

Contest Period: June 5–18, 2026

1. Eligibility: Open to Yukon residents 18 years of age or older. Employees of CKRW, Whitehorse Home Hardware, contest sponsors, and their immediate family members are not eligible.
2. How to Enter: Text DAD to 867-667-7891 after hearing the Dad Joke of the Day (limit one entry per person per hour). Standard text rates may apply. Bonus entries may be earned by liking the contest post, following CKRW and Whitehorse Home Hardware, sharing the post to your story and tagging CKRW, and tagging a deserving dad. Additional entries may be earned by submitting a dad joke via voice memo or through CKRW.com. No purchase necessary.
3. Prize: One (1) MILWAUKEE M18 18V FUEL 5 Tool Cordless Combo including a Hammer Drill Driver, Impact Driver, Reciprocating Saw, Circular Saw, and Work Light. Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, and has no cash value.
4. Winner Selection: One winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or about June 19, 2026. CKRW will attempt to contact the selected entrant up to three (3) times before selecting an alternate winner.
5. Submission Rules: All submissions must be original, family-friendly, and suitable for broadcast and social media use. Entrants must own or have permission to use all submitted content.
6. Use of Entries: By entering, participants grant CKRW permission to use submitted names, voices, photos, videos, stories, and likenesses for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
7. General Conditions: CKRW reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest. CKRW is not responsible for lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected entries, technical failures, or mobile carrier issues.
