The first bilingual health centre will open its doors in Whitehorse in the coming weeks
WHITEHORSE – Those in the Yukon looking to apply at the new bilingual health centre in Whitehorse can now do so.
Doors open at the new Centre de Sante Constellation Health Centre on November 7, 2022, at 4148 4th Ave in Whitehorse. The application process commenced on October 24, 2022.
People applying over the age of 16 must have a valid Yukon Health Care Insurance Plan in order to apply and be a client of the clinic however, those younger than 16 may have a guardian apply on their behalf.
Constellation is the Yukon’s first primary health care clinic of its sort, and it will serve as a model of care for the future. Constellation will provide another entry point for primary health care services for Yukoners, particularly the rising Francophone community, in addition to providing high-quality health and wellness services in both French and English.
Clients will be able to schedule appointments in advance, even receiving care on the same day if there is availability.
