RCMP arrest trespasser at the school
F.H. Collins school was briefly in a lockdown situation this afternoon.
According to an email from school principal Ruth Burridge obtained by the Rush, all students and staff are safe, with no risk of injury or harm.
In the email, Burridge writes “at approximately 12:25 pm an individual trespassed on school property; when the individual behaved disruptively in the hallways the school was placed in a hold and secure at approximately 12:55 pm.
“At approximately 1p.m. the RCMP arrested the individual, and escorted the person from the building.
At 1:15 pm the hold and secure was lifted.
