Ranj Pillai shifted top leadership across the Yukon government in one of his first steps as Premier
YUKON – In one of his first moves as Premier of the Yukon, Ranj Pillai has shuffled senior leadership across the public service sector.
Health and Social Services, Tourism and Culture, Education, the Women and Gender Equity Directorate, the Yukon Development Corporation, and the Yukon Housing Corporation will all see adjustments.
Tiffany Boyd will serve as the Department of Health and Social Services’ acting deputy minister for six months.
Justin Ferbey has been named president of the Yukon Housing Corporation, in addition to his duties as deputy minister of Economic Development, Tourism, and Culture.
Mary Cameron has been appointed deputy minister of education, and she will lead the Women and Gender Equity Directorate until May 1.
In addition to his role as president of the Yukon Liquor Corporation, Dennis Berry has been named president and CEO of the Yukon Development Corporation.
Sierra van der Meer will join the Yukon Government on May 1 as the deputy minister of Tourism and Culture, as well as the Directorate of Women and Gender Equity.
