Dangerous incident in Porter Creek Wednesday evening
An RCMP officer and a suspect were shot during what’s being called a high-risk takedown in the Porter Creek area Wednesday evening.
Chief Superintendent Scott Sheppard, Yukon RCMP Commanding Officer held a media briefing Thursday afternoon to discuss the incident.
The suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Sheldon Keobke of Whitehorse.
He is facing a slew of charges including attempted murder.
