Undetermined injuries in crash
It was an RCMP aircraft that crashed this morning at the Whitehorse Airport.
At approximately 11:40 am, police were notified of a plane crash at the airport.
The plane involved is an RCMP aircraft.
One RCMP employee was on board during the crash and they have been extracted safely and are being treated for injuries. Identity of the person involved will not be shared.
Further information will be provided when available.
The airport was temporarily closed due to the emergency and is now open.
