The Yukon government has its second data breach of private information in two months.
The Yukon government has another breach of information on its hands.
As it is still grappling with the fallout of a similar breach from the Department of Education a month ago, government officials say it is now investigating an incident in the Health and Social Services Department.
A news release says a private citizen appears to have obtained confidential government records that belong to the Department of Health and Social Services.
The Government of Yukon is working in cooperation with the Information and Privacy Commissioner as well as the RCMP to investigate the breach and mitigate potential risks.
