Contest Info

Camping, boating, or just out for a drive… In the Yukon, you don’t have to go far to see wildlife. If you take a pic of a wild animal or bird, that photo might be a winner!

Contest Info:
Upload your photo to our Furry Photo submissions page, and be sure to let us know where and when you took the photo.

Upload your photo by midnight on September 8th.
Winners announced on Friday, September 11th.

Important:

Be safe.

  • For your own protection
  • For the safety of other people who may encounter that animal in the future
  • For the wellbeing of the animal

Whether your subjects seem camera shy or not, remember they’re still wild animals. Keep your distance, don’t behave in a way that might disturb them, and be sure to continue to pay attention to your surroundings – the animal you’re photographing might not be the only animal around! And as always, remember you’re in bear country.
