Lunchbox Load-Up 2026

This back-to-school season, help Yukon families and win big with the 2026 Lunch Box Load Up!

From August 7th to 22nd, you can help the Yukon Food Bank do good in your community! Donate just ten dollars at the till at Save-On-Foods, or drop off lunch-friendly, non-perishable food items at CKRW. Every donation helps kids heading back to school.

Each donation gives you a chance to win a $1500 Save-On-Foods gift card!

For another shot at the prize, post a photo of your donation on socials and tag DJs CKRW 96.1 The Rush with hashtag #LunchBoxLoadUp.

Then, on Saturday August 22nd, stop by Save-On-Foods for the Lunch Box Load Up event! Drop off donations, meet The Rush team, and pick up some fun swag!

2026 Lunch Box Load Up – Contest Rules

August 7 – 22, 2026

Help stock the Yukon Food Bank this school year, and you could win a $1,500 Save-On-Foods Gift Card!

Eligibility

• Contest is open to Yukon residents only.
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• One winner will be selected by random draw at the conclusion of the campaign.
• Failure to respond after 3 attempts to contact you will result in the prize being forfeited.

How to Enter

• Donate a bag of lunch-friendly, non-perishable food items (examples: granola bars, juice boxes, fruit cups, crackers, applesauce, etc.) at CKRW The Rush or Save-On-Foods Whitehorse.
• Purchase one of the pre-packed Lunch Box Load Up donation bags available at Save-On-Foods and donate it to the Yukon Food Bank.
• For each qualifying donation, you’ll receive one (1) contest entry via ballot.
• Multiple entries are permitted. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win.
• Bonus Entry: Tag @TheRushCKRW on social media with a photo of your donation and include #LunchBoxLoadUp.

Join The Rush and Save-On-Foods on Saturday, August 22 for our live on-location finale. We’ll be collecting the final donations for the Yukon Food Bank and drawing one lucky winner of the $1,500 Save-On-Foods Gift Card live on location.

Important Notes

• Items originally obtained from the Yukon Food Bank will not be accepted as donations.
• No purchase is necessary to enter. Mail-in entries are available upon request.
• The prize is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferable.
• By entering, participants agree that CKRW may use their name and likeness for promotional purposes if selected as the winner.
• CKRW reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the contest if circumstances beyond its control require it.
• Employees of CKRW, Save-On-Foods, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
