Yukon’s Best: A Mother’s Day Contest

Yukon moms are built different. Cold mornings, long days, no shortcuts… and somehow they still keep everything and everyone going. This Mother’s Day, let’s give one of them something way better than flowers.

Yukon’s Best: A Mother’s Day Contest brought to you by Tagish Rocks and The Aurora Inn Dawson City, is hooking one incredible mom up with a $200 shopping spree at Tagish Rocks plus a two night stay at The Aurora Inn Dawson City.

The following rules and regulations govern the CKRW “Yukon’s Best” Mother’s Day Contest (the “Contest”). By entering, participants agree to abide by these rules and all decisions made by CKRW, which are final.

Contest Period

The Contest begins on April 24th at 8 a.m. Yukon Time and closes on May 8 at 12:00am Yukon Time. Winner will be announced on the Rush on Friday May 8^th.

Entries received outside the Contest period will not be eligible. If the selected entrant cannot be reached or is ineligible, another entrant may be selected.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of the Yukon who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, sponsors, promotional partners, and immediate family members of CKRW and participating sponsors are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

Text Entry

Participants may enter by texting the keyword MOM to 867-667-7891 during the Contest period.

Limit one (1) text entry per person, per hour
Standard messaging/data rates may apply
Automated or bulk entries are prohibited

Bonus Social Media Entries

Participants may earn bonus entries by completing the following:

Like the official contest post
Follow CKRW social media account(s)/ sponsors
Share the contest post to their story and tag CKRW
Tag a deserving mom (or moms) in the comments

Website Entry / Photo Submission

Participants may also submit:

A photo of their mom, and why they deserve to win via the official contest page at CKRW.com.

All submissions must be appropriate, respectful, and original.

By submitting a photo, entrants confirm they have permission to share the image and grant CKRW the right to repost, publish, and use the photo on CKRW social media platforms, website, and promotional materials without further compensation.

Prize

One (1) winner will receive a two night stay at the Aurora Inn, Dawson City + a $200 spending spree at Tagish Rocks. Transportation to Dawson City is not included in the prize package.

Prize must be accepted as awarded and has no cash value. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.

Winner Selection

One eligible winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest period.

The draw will take place on or around May 8^th.

The selected entrant will be contacted by phone, text, email, or social media direct message.

To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must answer our attempts to reach you. We will try a total of 3 times. If winner does not respond, we will draw a new name. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Submission Content Rules

By submitting photos, comments, or written content, entrants confirm:

They own or have permission to use submitted content
Content does not infringe on any third-party rights
Content is not offensive, defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate

CKRW reserves the right to remove or disqualify any submission deemed unsuitable.

Use of Entries

By entering the Contest, participants grant CKRW permission to use submitted names, stories, photos, and likenesses for promotional, marketing, broadcast, and social media purposes related to the Contest without additional compensation.
